Good points first.... Very friendly helpful staff, particularly in reception.Large room overlooking the sea, very comfy beds and large proper bath towels(rare find) lots of hot water.Hotels position on waterfront is ideal but the waterfront is a port so beware.Nice looking hotel in an otherwise ugly city
Bad points.... Should be a 2 not 4 star, agree with other reviewers, bath taps squirty and pathetic flow so ages to run a bath.Bathroom bin looked like an agar plate it looked so grimy.Mini bar door kept falling off but was fixed after reporting it twice.very poor wifi as previously reported but most annoying was no english TV.BBC was stated in the TV menu and when I reported that it wasnt working I was told it would be fixed manyana. Next day... No BBC and was told they have never had BBC and didnt know why it was on the TV menu!!! but they explained that they had one english channel. They didnt understand that CNN is not an english channel. The walls are also incredibly thin and can hear next door neighbours coughing,TV, showering etc
The hotel is proud of the fact that in the '60's,the likes of Spielberg,Sophia Loren and Clint Eastwood stayed there whilst filming on location a few miles away but get the impression that the hotel has been living off this ever since.
