“Gelato is to die for...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

This establishment is not to be missed. They rival Baskins & Robbins, but for Gelato not ice cream. Many many different flavors served up in waffle cones, sugar cones or plastic cups. To die for is the bitter sweet chocolate gelato…OMG! We have never tried the crepes or the coffee there, but when the weather is nice the tables in front of the place are all filled. There are tables inside too. It is a very popular place. Highly recommended.

“Best Gelateria in Germany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2011

Extraordinary Italian ice cream -and we just had a great visit to Italy. Over the course of two days,we went to this gelateria twice and were never disappointed. The melon (a daily special) was subtle, the lemon was tangy and flavorful, the mango was top notch, the cinnamon was superb, but the absolute best was the bitter chocolate which is best described as a melted semi-sweet chocolate bar which was still cold! The cones are excellent and the price was exactly as it should be - a ball/kugel is only a Euro. i am unsure of the one reviewer's negative comments on service, every employee we met was out-going and friendly, to include the man I suppose is the owner.
