“Hotel with style”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

The Pullman Erfurt am Dom is a fine hotel offering excellent facilities for the businessman and those with a large budget.
Breakfast is excellent but prices in the restaurant are not cheap.
Staff are friendly and the architecture incorperating two existing buildings is interesting.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. English visitors must remember that coffee and tea facilities are not included in the room.

We stayed here with our 13 year old nephew on the last leg of our Germany trip. After staying in quaint but pretty hotels, this was a step back into today-styled comfort.

The hotel's a typical business hotel - it's clean, comfortable, nice rooms and bathroom, comfy bed and a decent size to put a pull-out bed for one child. The lobby is breezy and naturally lit and gives a very nice open feel.

The staff is quite friendly and helpful too. Good advice on where to go and what to eat.

The Spa is a must visit. The jacuzzi and steam rooms are very nice and relaxing. No swimming pool though.

The location is not bad at all. It's at the back of the cathedral and about a 7 minute walk to the town square where there are tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. A tram line also runs at about the same walking time.

The only bummer, well two bummers - parking is a little steep at 13eur a night and there is no street parking in town so you have no choice. And if its a business hotel, then there absolutely must be free wifi in the rooms. The hotel has two public computers in the lobby though.

If ever I am in this part of the world again, I'll come back here (but I'll perhaps look for a better deal than the 120e I paid!)

Pullman am Dom in Erfurt.

A business hotel in a true sense – efficient and clean and offering the amenities a businessperson seeks . Close to the city-center with it’s wonderful choice of restaurants finds this place in enviable and unique location.

Service for breakfast was not very good, servers were a bit stressed and overwhelmed but the buffet was well set up and lacked nothing. My impression was that they were severely understaffed.

Excellent value and comfort....

We recently stayed two nights at this hotel and this must have been the best hotel that we have been staying at a price of less than 60 Euro per night. The hotel and rooms are modern and may be somewhat impersonal, but were very clean and in good condition. The location is not in the centre of the old town, but within a few minutes' walk of all important sights. It is also close to a tram line, which we used to get to the main train station within a few minutes. Breakfast was not included in our rate, but there are many excellent places to choose from close by. The only negative aspect that we can think of is that free Wi-fi is not availble, which is the acceptable standard for newer hotels and can be found in less luxorious hotels of the same group of hotels. We agree with the number one Tripadvisor rating for Erfurth and can recommend it without hesitation.

The Pullman hotel is a small oasis of luxury in the city centre.

Located just behind the Cathedral complex the hotel is conveniently located for the centre of the city and all the major sites.

The hotel is modern with a sleek central lobby that streatches the full hight of the hotel creating a very light and welcoming feel.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, particularly at breakfast. On hot mornings you can even eat out on the sun terrace taking in the rays and the views of the fortress.

The rooms are spacious and the beds amazingly comfortable.

There aren’t any

As it is a five-star hotel prices can be a little steep, but if you book in advance through the hotels website there are some pretty good deals to be had.

Room Tip: If you can afford it pay the little extra and go for a Deluxe room which have a spacious living area...
