When we confirmed our reservation, we received a message promising that we would be spoilt at the hotel - that was actually true!
The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is superkind. There is really all you can wish - very good spa facilities and a small but very enjoyable swimming pool, an excellent and superabundant breakfast, newspapers and magazines (every morning the hotel publishes its own newspaper, informing about activities going on in the region that day). The only down side is that you need a car, as the hotel is located on the opposite side of the river in respect to the centre.

We had a wonderful stay at the Eurener Hof Hotel. The reception was very friendly, as were all staff whom we met. The rooms were exceedingly large by European standards. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had many options. The parking and in-door pool were very nice too.

Note that the hotel is not centrally located at the Porta Nigra, but is on the other side of the Mosel River. We had a car, so this was not important to us. We look forward to staying there again, and for a longer period of time!
