“Needs more visitor information but a fascinating place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

This place really fires the imagination but it is lacking on the amount of information given out to the visitor. A shame really but could easily be improved.

“Interesting to Explore, Little Information”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

While it is fascinating to explore the baths and the labyrinth below, the exhibits are not very informative on site.

“Wonderful site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

The size alone is impressive. Very difficult to imagine all that occured to keep baths of this magnitude going! The underground tunnels and chambers were wonderful. It was 39C so we loved hanging around underground. Would so have loved to see these when in use.

“Temper your expectations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Admittedly, this review is based only on a visit to the "outside" - which shows a lot of it - and enough to make me question the value of a 3 euro ticket just to get a closer look. There is a path all the way around the outside which goes right along the remains. Plenty of photo ops are available. The ticket would give closer access, so depending on your level of interest in ruins, it might be worthwhile, but time was too tight for me, and I opted to visit another ruin (the ampitheatre) instead.

“A super place if you're hooked on Roman stuff and don't like too many tourists!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Most of this attraction can be seen from the roadside. However, if you're hooked on the Romans, it's best to go around, it's a great site, and the thrill is the tunnels! Like a darkened maze! Appears to be a mock Roman village with people dressed up, but may be for school parties only. Looks great for the school children who were excitedly queueing up when we were there! It also has a terrific viewing platform to see the whole site. No museum, has a few gifts and postcards.
