“Nice hotel, convenient location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Hotel is straight down the street from train station. Large, clean rooms. Our room in the front was a bit noisey with young people talking in the street late at night at times, but overall a good hotel. Just a short walk to the town center, with many cafes, restaurants, shopping and historic sites. Breakfast buffet in a cheery room on the top floor with a great view of the park. Good variety of breakfast foods.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room not on the hotel entrance side of the street.

The hotel is very near the train station on a pedestrian street. It's a very easy walk to the center of Muenster and also to the Aasee. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Casual furnishings made it delightful--no cookie-cutter chain hotel here! At check-out, the man at the desk (seemingly the owner) said that his mother had decorated it. Breakfast was good and varied. The staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and steered us to nice places away from the more popular tourist restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed visit to Heidelberg. Note that reception is above the street level but there is an elevator.

See title. 5 minutes walk from station, 10 minutes walk into the Altstadt. Clean, modern rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast in a room overlooking the park (try and get a window seat).

The hotel is nicely located - just near the train station. Also the very centre of Muenster is just 5-10 minutes walk: Dom, Picasso Museum, Aasee, etc.
The rooms are quite big with the little hall, all nicely decorated with maritime theme.
The breakfast is excellent - with the good selection of food and the breakfast room has a wonderful view on Muenster.
The internet is great too. And they put a little chocolate on you pillow every day.

The only drawback was that you cannot check-in at night and if you are coming later than 6 pm you need to let them know, so someone would stay there.

i stayed at this hotel when I was in Munster for a conference. It's very really to the train station, if you arrive late the reception is closed but they leave your keys and instructions at another hotel nearby.

the room was big, and nice, it was cleaned daily, the bed was comfy and there was free wireless internet.

the street where hotel is located does not look super safe, but I (female traveling alone) did not encounter any problem coming back to the hotel at night.

the breakfast was OK.

overall, I was happy with my stay there and I do recommend it for other travelers

We stayed at this hotel near the train station because we were visiting family we didn't want to burden with our stay there. It was a nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere, despite being in very close proximity to the (not very charming) Hauptbahnhof (train station). On the other side, however, is the 'promenade', which is nice.
Obviously the hotel is also easy to reach with public transport.

The interior design was simple, but rather elegant, even though the colours in the breakfast hall would not have been my first choice. The rooms were not very big, but fine and we felt very welcome there. There was no one looking over our shoulders when my boyfriend walked up to my (single) room with me to say goodbye and all in all I ended up regretting not having stayed there longer.
