Room: The room was was adequate, though I have not stayed anywhere else in the area so I cannot make a relative comparison. Fairly straightforward bed, desk, and dressers were included. The bathroom was also fairly typical, though the orientation of the shower make it impossible to let the water run to heat up without getting water all over the floor as the shower head pointed straight out the sliding shower doors.
Location: I am going to venture a guess that if you are staying here you are likely attending a trade show at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre. For that task, the hotel is ideally located as it is a very short walk to the center; I do not think there is a closer hotel. Also, the train line into Dusseldorf runs down the street next to the hotel, so it is easy to ride into the city center or back to the convention center (if you are feeling too lazy to walk, though it will be very busy during trade shows).
Service: My interactions with the staff were few, but very satisfying. I do not speak German, but the staff was able to help me get around the area and easily into the Dusseldorf city center. Service at breakfast was also very good.
Other: The hotel has an interesting little art museum, which is a nice touch.
