“Clean room but the wifi is shicking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

Stopped here for two nights in September on business. Clean rooms and fantastic location. Breakfast was brilliant with so much selection.

Parking is €9 per day and your vehicle will be safe. Wifi is available but you have to pay for it and the signal is very poor.

On the whole great place to stay.

The location is ideal for touring the city. The foyer is on the 3rd floor and rooms on the 4th and 5th floor.to all those people who complained about expensive wi fi I would point out that there is a free to use terminal next to the breakfast room.My room was spacious and quiet and the bed comfortable..There is a flat screen tv and a kettle. Some minor negative points. The bath has a glass shower screen diagonally across the bath which makes the bath difficult to get into.there is a doorstiop by the wardrobe upon which I invariably hit my foot. There is no wallsafe so you have to put your valuables in a box in reception.
Breakfast at 16 euros a day was underwhelming.Poor choice of cereals. No skimmed milk. Not always certain of boiled eggs.Bacon burnt so much it tasted like eating bootlaces. No marmalade. Not really worth the money.however I enjoyed staying at the hotel and would happily do so again.

Hotel is centrally located in the city centre, reception on third floor of the building it is in. Basic enough but clean hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious but sadly wi fi was not free.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Stayed here with 3 friend during the weekend of 19th - 21st April. Visiting to watch the football. The hotel is in an excellent city centre location. Less than 5 minutes walk from the Market Square and less than 5 minutes from the main railway station. The metro right outside the hotel was on the line to and from the stadium, so this was ideal. Good clean, efficient hotel and the reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Would stay here again if visiting Dortmund

Good location, right in downtown, good value for money, good breakfast. But why wifi has to be paid, especially for a hotel targeting business travellers (or maybe because of that?).
My room faced the main street and it was noisy in the early morning - garbage trucks, etc.

Room Tip: If you want quite then the room should not face the main street.

The entrance to the hotel is very uninspiring ( off a shopping centre ). However rooms make up for it ! We were given very large suite like rooms - separating the adults from the children with a 'wall' and their own tv.
Hotel full of football fans yet very peaceful and no noise.
Ajoining car park good value but beware looks very shut on a sunday morning !
