This hotel was pretty much what you would expect for the money. Rooms are basic and small with little character. Carpets were worn and few badly filled in cracks in the walls but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The rooms were also fairly quiet and appeared to have good soundproofing.

We have stayed at this Ibis Hotel in my hometown for a number of years now and again, we have found it excellent, our only disappointment being the meals served in the restaurant . After trying them for two evenings, we reluctantly gave up and either ate in town or at the nearby "Restaurant Stadewaeldchen". A great pity that the hotel kitchen did not try harder. We are not spoilt, but we expect our food to be served hot and not lukewarm!

Located a touch out of the centre but a good, clean hotel with excellent facilities.
If we play Dortmund again I would definitely stay here again.
Easy to book on line and good value for money.

We have been visiting this hotel a number of times the last couple years, and always felt welcome and enjoyed our stay here. The price is right and so are the rooms! Great shower, bright bathroom, good beds, friendly personel, good breakfast. Tv has so many channels that even flipping up and down all the way keeps you busy quite a while. With downtown just a small stroll from the hotel and even the underground round the corner and ample free parking around the hotel, you never have to get bored. If you don't want to buy a beer or dinner at the hotel, there are countless great places nearby, open from early till late. Wifi for free in the lobby, but available throughout the hotel for a charge. Will certainly return again. Recommended.
