What a find! Stayed at the Im Wasserturm as a suprise for two nights a very unique hotel indeed. A designers dream of a hotel well thought out and very cleverly built from a watertower with lots of design toutches from the bottom to the top!
Check in staff very helpful and welcoming. We had a maisonette over two floors which I really liked.
The living room was very light due to the huge widow . Again the design was modern with top quality fixtures and furnishings. Clever use of mirrors for the doors and hidden behind one was the minibar which was not excessive in price. In the corner of the room was a spiral staircase up to the bedroom. Large comfy bed with again quality linen and fabrics and lots of wardrobe space and another washroom. Only thing they could improve on is to update the TVs and have cd players in the rooms. Dinner in the W restaurant average but not the drinks! 10 euros for water and a eye watering 26 euros for two gins! Breakfast excellent, again quality food. Would get VERY hot in the summer, no aircon except in penthouse. Was very warm in March. Stay there agin would recommend over others!
