“Tolles Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2011

Friendly Hotel, nice rooms, good quality for sleeping, very close to city center, shopping streets and also for clubs&restaurants. It has good accomodation. Comfortable fitness and wellness area. Breakfast is good. Also it has conference rooms, so good hotel for business trips. The wellness area needs a swimming pool :)

Beautiful Hotel, and we were lucky enough to have a balcony to our room... but from some reason it had no balcony furniture, we asked but there was none on offer! Amazing! jaw droopingly incongruent, amazing plus with a balcony.. no means to use it... not unlike the view wine bar... above it needed a balcony but no just window reflections! someone in management in this building simply does not realise the capital of space and potential... The hotel is a highly talented student performing well, exceptionally well but ironically yet un-taped in some areas one would expect to be well covered at more basic stages!!!

Stayed at the Pullman for 5 nights while attending an exhibition and was pleasantly surprised. More character than your average European business hotel and certainly a cut above the rest. Rooms were tiny, but very, very comfortable - slept as well if not better here than I have done at any upper level business hotel hotel in the US or Europe.

It's also worth noting the tremendous shower - very, very nice. Especially when you're used to the terrible ones that are found in every Marriott and Hilton in the US.

Location is solid for nightlife - as a former resident of Cologne, I was able to reach some of my favourite places in the city center. The hotel bar also deserves a thumbs up - great Schnapps and Scotch selections.

Pullman Cologne is really a very nice hotel. So clean, new furnitures, very helpful staff and great location. It is located just a walk away to the main sqoare DOM church and to main train station. It's in a so quiet street that you will have a comfort sleep.Breakfast isn't included but if you have it extra you will have a nice breakfast especially the fresh fruit juice kinds were good. The bathroom has slide door. That was the only negative property for me.If you stay in a twin room it's problem because slide door doesn't close completely. But this was the only problem.Generally the hotel is great. There was steam bath, fitness center, sauna and ice for shock next to sauna and they are free to use.If there would be a swimming pool was going to be better.

The Pullman is a smart hotel in the centre of Cologne. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable with attractive en suites.

I stayed at the Pullman for one night and had room service which was thoroughly pleasant and of a good standard.

The hotel has a gym which is open 24 hours - it has the basics: running machines, cross trainer, bike, some free weights. Towels and bottles of water available for you to take. It was suitable for my one night stay.

Overall I thought the hotel was very good for business purposes. I would happily stay there on a personal trip also.

Only improvement is that WIFI isn't free. I paid for 24 hour access - the WIFI worked like a dream and I couldn't complain about it. Everything is better if it's free!

Our stay was very nice! The hotel restaurant is highly recommended and the view to Kölner Dom magnificent at night.

The location was very good, a walk away from the city centre. The environment was peaceful.

No complaints whatsoever about our stay. Good value for money.
