We dined at bodega Antonio in Wiesbaden early May 2011. The menu was all in german and we could sort of make things out. The waiter David spoke good english and patiently explained the dishes to us. The weather was quite pleasant and we decided to eat outside and chose to try a mix of Tapas. Well wasnt that a good choice on our behalf,
We started with the chicken in Garlic , the chicken was tender and fell off the bone and the Garlickly olive oil was fantastic with the garlic giving a hint of spicyness. next some crumbed squid strips with a really nice aoli, the squid was tender and well cooked. 2 down 2 more to go, I chose the chorizo in a spicy tomato sauce and my wife the prawns in olive oil. The chorizo was nice but Oh my god was the sauce tasty, my wife who doesnt like chorizo just kept lapping up the sauce with the complimentary bread. i have to admit i did the same with her garlic prawns olive oil.
the only disappointmet was the red house wine , it was just ok but we drank the litre anyway.
The service from David was exceptional and our overall dining experience was one of the best we had in europe and also one of the cheapest with the total cost coming in at 39 euros including wine. if we didnt have the wine cost was 21 euros
