“We're lucky not to be washed out!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

During the stay in November, one night we'd back from an exhausted schedule. We're shocked by seeing this- our room door was opening as big as it can! I was so panic and rushed to the front dest and asked for help. After he followed me back to the room and found that nothing lost. He was relaxed with a smile! But I was not! How can I? It might be someone once came in without any notice, or...
Anyway, this was the worst experience I've ever had from the trips!
And thanks! No more Leonardo chain hotels!!

Room Tip: There's a pub next to the hotel. Anyway, no easy to get a good sleeping quality!

A stone's throw from the train station. Literally a 2 min walk.
It is basic enough, but relative to price it was in line with what I expected.
And most crucially I got a great night's sleep!
Comfy bed and no noise.

We wanted someone cheap to stay but centrally located as well. Having booked on line through BA holidays the package that we were offered this hotel and flight ticked our boxes.
After booking we did nothing until as our holiday got closer we started to look at where we would be going and some of the reviews online. Some were great some weren't.

Well this is ours; we arrived around 1230pm hoping that we could drop off our bags as we thought it would be too early to get to our room. We were met by a wonderful receptionist. Cheerful and full of welcome, who booked us into our room (which was ready). There was a slight problem with a voucher that I supposed to bring, not the fault of the hotel but they got us checked in and once I had got my emails up and running this was quickly sorted.

Our room was on the 3rd floor a nice size, bed was very comfortable and quiet at night. The curtains blocked out most of the natural and unnatural light. Sleep was lovely peaceful as it should be.
Bathroom had all of the basics and hot water all the time.
I had seen negative comments about the rooms the, point here though is what are you suing the room for? If like us its a base, sleep at night and don't see much of it during the day then this ideally situated hotel is ideal. If you plan to spend 23 hours in the room then this probably not for you.
The room had sofa, desk, plenty of space to hang/store clothes. A safe and TV with over 20 channels. Plenty of power sockets. Including a balcony (bit cold to use though).

Breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast which great, fresh coffee, hot & cold meats, cheese, bread, cereal and fruit and salad. The breakfast staff were very attentive and friendly.

On our last day we couldn't get the communal computer to work to check in, for our flight home.
We spoke to the receptionist who immediately used the check in computer and checked us in on line. Fantastic service and also printed out our boarding passes. A short while later we checked out and were allowed to store our bags there before we need to return to the Airport a few hours later.

The Hotel is ideally located by the Train station as well as the underground and trams which stop right outside the hotel. Though there are Nightclubs and pubs next door. We never heard any noise. Though in fairness we were located at the back of the hotel. The area is not seedy as described by someone else we never felt threatened or afraid for our safety. In fact quiet the opposite.

I have never heard of Leonardo Hotels before but was very impressed with their service and style of hotel. We will certainly consider using them again.

Right beside the train station. Easy to find. The rooms are clean and good to stay. The breakfast is good. There"s some stores nearby but must have your eyes opened because it"s not a safehaven. There"s an irish pub just a few steps away that you cam enjoy good beer.

It's only 100 m from Frankfurt Hbf. There are many shopping maill, bars, bus, restaurants, Arabian Markets around. No time waist in Frankfurt thanks to the location ofthe hotel.
Next time to Europe cities will be at hotel or guest house next to Railway Stations.

Room Tip: ground floor better.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2014

We only had less than 24 hours to spend in Frankfurt and needed a hotel close to the central railway station. This one fitted the requirement perfectly. It is so close to the station that you could almost hit one with a rock thrown from the other. The room was quiet and clean. We were close enough to Sachsenhausen to be able to walk there for dinner and then home afterwards in the darkness in complete safety. The room rate was reasonable and we got a more than adequate buffet breakfast, both hot and cold. This will be my hotel of choice next trip to Frankfurt.
