3 girls stayed one Saturday night at Frankfurt Hostel.

Great hostel, helpful staff - both days.
Printed tickets for us for our return journey home.
Kept bags for us after checkout, which helped.

Free pasta on a Saturday night - yum yum, in my tum. Just had to buy beer - which wasn't too over priced.

Very close to station which was good, but quite a walk to Christmas market.

Bad points - you will not see from the pics, but its directly above a SEX SHOP. Although didn't cause us any problems.

Door came off of the hinge at midnight (Jenny pushed it) but the guy on the desk kindly moved us to another private room, which was much more cozy anyway (hate to say it - well done Jen).

Overall the hostel was fab - very clean, welcoming and great value for money.

This is a reasonably priced place to stay, very close to the centre of Frankfurt, and also the train station. Great for backpackers. I will say that I've stayed in cheaper hostels that were far nicer though. I didn't like that the reception, common room and kitchen were all in one room. The kitchen was out of use in the morning while the staff used it to provide breakfast, which wasn't ideal. We did enjoy the breakfast though. The rooms were typical hostel rooms, although internet access in them would have been nice, as would more plug sockets. The bathroom was a bit messy, but I suspect that had more to do with messy roommates than the state of the hostel.

I wouldn't want to put anyone off because it is a decent place, and the location is definitely useful, but at 22 Euros each per night I might have expected it to be a bit better than cheaper hostels.

The location is central and even at night safe enough for a girl even although it's around the train station. The facilities are very basic but ok for 18 EUR in a dorm. The beds are a bit uncomfortable with the matrasses hanging through, but not too bad for a couple of nights. The staff is friendly, if a bit slow, but that might be because I checked in so late. They don't explain how the door key cards work which are a bit fiddly. A big plus is the breakfast which is free and gives you everything you need and how much you want to start the day: bread, rolls, coffee, tea, cheese, salami, nutella, müsli etc. BUT: When I left after a night, I had a nasty surprise: FLEAS! It took me hours to clean the apartment and wash everything and all in all I spent an extra 25 EUR for dry cleaning and flea spray. Not so cheap after all. When I contacted them I got an apology and that was it - don't know if I would recommend it....

this is a very good hostel and centrally located. but it is a little expensive.the hostel is very clean and safe.all tourist spots are very near.i wish i could stay there for some more time.
