“Love this hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2011

A very nice hotel. Room was bright and big enough. Coffee/Tea facility available. We stayed on the 17th floor and the view over the city was magnificent. Wellness center was nice and the view from the pool ( on the 18th floor) over the city was great as well. The breakfast buffet was huge but terribly expensive. Only thing I didn't like- we returned to the room around 16.00 hrs and it was still not clean. Cleaner came late when we were in the room, so we didn't want to be disturbed and stayed in dirty room for 2 days. Would love to stay at that hotel again.

pros: proximity to highway - very suitable for split trips, eg Wiesbaden and Frankfurt; close to Frankfurt airport, free internet, good value for money for a Frankfurt hotel
cons: very small rooms, cleanliness could be better, towels were not sooo fresh; breakfast mediocre and not cheap; not suitable for a touristy trip to Frankfurt

The Radisson Blu is a trendy hotel just on the fringes of Central Frankfurt, a 10 minute trolley ride from the Huaptbahnhof (Main). Breakfast was included in our room rate and it offered a spectacular buffet. The negatives included a window on the wall connecting the bath with the bedroom. This was both odd and problematic as light from the bathroom when being used flooded the bedroom...someone using the bathroom would cause the bedroom to be lit bothering a second party when sleeping; the beds were rock hard; and the closets were very narrow allowing only a few items to be hung. God help you if you travel with a woman!

Rooms are very large and nicely decorated. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided.

This is 4-star design hotel is a 13-minute tram ride from Frankfurt Train Station and a 15-minute walk from Frankfurt Messe. It offers panoramic views, an indoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Excellent view from there! The hotel’s health club on the eighteenth floor includes a sauna, steam room and solarium. It also has a fitness room and offers spa treatments.

There is a super Breakfast Buffet each morning in the Gaía restaurant.

I stay often at the radisson hotels as when travelling in germany they are quite good 4 star hotels . This hotel is not really near the centre. You need to take the tram. There is nothing to do in the immediate area and the ves not that nice (only at night you can see the lights if high up). The staff is very good and friendly and the rooms of decent size . They forgot my wake up call though and it took a while to order my taxi....

We chose this hotel in Frankfurt after several experiences in radisson hotels in Berlin, Rome or London.
The hotel is located in a residential area, a 15-minute tram ride (4.40 euros) from the central train station or 5 minutes by taxi (9 euros).
The reception staff was always right, Fabio was the most pleasant and friendly.
Our private room was bussines class and was located on the 14th floor. It was very wide, but with a little decor Kisch, a mixture of gold and red with a floral carpet. The best part was the large window overlooking the Frankfurt skyline, especially at night New Year with fireworks. That night we used the room service was a little slow. The bed was comfortable with various types of pillows and warm duvets. LCD TV with a Spanish channel TVE. There was a desk and he had a nesspresso with various types of capsules, but there was no milk. The wifi signal was not working very well but had a cable connection. The bathroom was small relative to the size of the room but had everything we needed and especially nice was the underfloor heating.
The SPA heaven was great, I used the pool to swim upstream with excellent views and panoramic sauna with shower pan, a little exhibitionist.

Had enough clothes and towels plus a bar and mineral water machine.
The breakfast in the restaurant "Gaia" was exceptional, many options very well cooked hot, sweet, fresh fruit, meat sausages, pates, cheeses ... The only thing you need to improve was the orange juice, which was very unnatural. The staff was super nice and worked hard to have empty tables all day on New Year's. A friendly staff brought us olive oil for our toast, the next day bring it back without being asked, in great detail.
It was also very pleasant lounge wunderbar, but it was a little cold. On the evening of New Year would have been thrilled that he had put some DJ for dancing. He was a little lacking in animation.
In short, a good experience in Frankfurt, which will undoubtedly happen again.

The hotel is not really downtown, it takes 15-20 min by tram to reach the railway station. The hotel is located in a business park surrounded by a highway, nothing to see or do there. The building is easy to recognize due to the very special architecture. The view from the room was great especially during evening. They have a sauna/wellness department at the top floor, which is very nice and again with really great views. The room was just OK, nothing special but nothing to complain. Internet was free, as alway in Radisson Blu, good benefit for a hotel in Germany.
