I travel to Frankfurt regularly and tried to Intercontinental to compare with some of the other 5* hotels. The lobby and bar give a feel of 5* but I felt the rooms were a little outdated with a lot of dark wood. I have no specific complaints about the hotel and would probably stay again but it lacked a little bit of atmosphere of some of the other Frankfurt hotels. It reminded me a little bit of an airport hotel where there always seemed to be a lot of luggage and people travelling through.

This is a very well run hotel. Very competent front desk staff and no-nonsense attitude. The room was clean, large by European standards and reasonably furnished. The hotel is in a great location very close to Main river. For travelers from different time zone, a great stroll by the river around dawn will give you great view of the city and allows you to take some very good pictures of the sunrise. The hotel has a nice restaurant and a cafeteria for in-hotel dining.

Hotel InterContinental Frankfurt has central location, OK rooms and quite good service, good breakfast. It is not enough to deliver normal InterContinental level of the product. Do something with it....

a very comfortable hotel with very good service, big clean rooms, great breakfast and lovely view. Conference facilities are very good. Free wifi il the loby makes communication with home easy. Location is not so convenient from the center of the city and shoping areas, but its an easy 10 minutes walking and the weather was great.
