Small well run hotel close to the hauptbahnhof in Frankfurt, handy for travel on tram or UBahn or SBahn. Has breakfast good range particularly the scrambled eggs, and a small bar. Staff very friendly, they remember you when you come back. All hotel staff speak English, most speak some French, and Zladdy speaks Croatian. On the edge of the red light district, which isnt really a problem, but you probably dont want to come the wrong way to the hotel at night. Rooms comfortable, I have stayed there many times over the last 10 years. Good restaurants handy in all directions.

Room Tip: room numbers ending with 5 or 6 are bigger. Room numbers are on the floor, not the doors.

I stayed in this hotel for a few nights and all I wanted is a place which is close to transportation, safe, convenient to downtown, and reasonably priced. This place met all of my expecations. Yes the room is small but the design is functional and smart. There's a grocery store right across the hotel and downtown is just 10-15 mins walk. Staff is also very helpful. I recommend this place.

Good, quirky boutique hotel located very close to the train station. Small rooms but very comfortable. Had some coloured mood lighting behind the bed head which was interesting.

The staff really make this hotel! Nothing was a problem for them and they were very helpful. Our luggage had been delayed through an airline and they happily looked after phone calls to the airline and the eventual delivery of our luggage while we occupied.

It is close to the red light district but not too close to be a problem.

Also free wifi!

I stayed here for just one night, passing through town. The staff was delightful - they let me check in early, and took very good care of me. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The whole place is pretty tightly-packed into a compact building, and my room was one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in, but it was clean, very nicely-appointed, and had a very appealing style about it. Internet was free, and available throughout the hotel, which I love. Location is very good, directly across the street from train station, just a few minutes train ride from the giant Frankfurt airport. Nice place.

Great central location. The room was very spacious and modern (though the colour scheme of black and white is quite harsh and I am not a fan of net curtains over the window but all that is just a personal preference). The coloured lighting is a brilliant unique touch (a choice of three colours with dimmers) - making the rooms very relaxing. Bathroom had a great shower and was spotlessly clean - overall very good for the room rate.
Exceptional breakfast (for the price of the hotel). Lovely variety of pastries, fruit, yoghurt, sausage, egg, bacon, bread/rolls, fish, cold meats and cheeses.
As other reviewers have said, on leaving the hotel, turn left and walk to the next block if you want the red-light district, right if not. The red-light district feels pretty rough but the road the hotel is on is fine and just outside the area.
Would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: A bit of noise comes from the stairwell so try for a room away from here.

Excellent! We were in Frankfurt from 19th december 2012 for 6 days. The hotel is just in front of the railways station, il you come by car (we did it), you can ask for a place in the garage in a building round the corner, the best shops in town are around this area (also the best sex-shops if you like the item but we don't care!!), at 100 m. far from this sex area you find the BCE building and we think that this is very democratic!!
By walk you can see all the best skyscrapers and monuments.
We were two adults and a 17 years old boy, we had a very charming room at the third floor: very clean, large, comfortable beds, fantastic shower, free coffee and tea, frigo bar.
What about breakfast? Magnificent!! Italian people usually don't eat a lot at breakfast but this time we tried everything!! Eggs, salmon, salami, ham, wurstel, any kind of german bread, mozzarella and tomatoes, fruits...and so on.
At the reception desk you find "angels": smiling, professional, helpful, polite people. They speak many languages and make your stay a happy one!!
You can borrow an umbrella (we had 5 days raining!!!) and this is very kind.
In front of the hotel there is a small supermarket open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. 6 days a week.
Free wi-fi (our son was grateful), television.
We recommend this hotel to all of you who want to feel like "at home" when come back from a very busy day!!

Room Tip: we had room 36 not on the front side. A very silent room
