The Hotel is situated in the North-east suburbs of Frankfurt which some people might like (it's a quite village) and some might not (rather prefering buzzing places in the city centre). However, a taxi ride is between 27 and 45EUR. There is a relatively easy access to a 2min bus link to the train station which brings you to Frankfurt Messe, Airport or City in just 15-20min for less money.
The Hotel looks a bit dated at first but the service and the way of how the rooms are furnitured makes it look better. I found a spotless room with a nice en-suite. Shame they missed the usual toilettries at first. I had a loft room with a nice view over the market square. The room provided a small desk, a mini bar and a small flat screen tv as well as a small sofa. A very positive thing is WI-FI throughout for free. Again I need to mention the staff which is very helpful with everything I asked for. A bar next to reception gives the opportunity to sit down for a drink or the attached restaurant provides local food with a chefs speciality card.
The Restaurant is also the place where breakfast is served. A very nice choice of breads and rolls, loads of cereals, joghurts and fruits as well as the egg, bacon and sausage station. There was nothing I missed and it was nice to not need to share it with hundreds of other guests.
Overall a place I can comfortably recommend as it has the personal touch which bigger chains might miss out on. Unfortunately the price per room was not value for money due to the nearby exhibitions. But this problem you'll have every else in the world, too.
