First of all, This Hotel is an average 5 star Hotel. The rooms are Ok but needs some re-furnishing. The food at the bar is Ok. The beds could be more comfortable. The internet was very very slow!!! The internet was free of charge but I would prefer to pay but get a decent internet connection. Positive points are the bathroom was nice, and breakfast was very good. You can also allowed to smoke nice cigars at the bar which very rare for a bar in Europe. The internet was very very bad!!! At overall I would consider this Hotel as an Avarage:

I stayed here two nights during the Frankfurt ambiente trade fair. It's a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Messe.
My room was newly refurbished with a separate living space. The bathroom has a great shower and bath.
Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choice. Service was attentive and there was a lot of choice. Can recommend the Bircher muesli.
Would definitely stay again

Stayed one night last week and it was great. The room was very comforatable and spaceous, with a unique atmoshere. The food in the resturant was very good..only critism was that the portion were smallish...leaving you wanting more. The location is excellent..10 min walk from the station, which is a 20 minute train ride from the airport. But the best think about the Hessischer Hoff, is that the service is only very good, something that I have only ever experienced at one other hotel whilst traning around the world in the last 30 years.....The staff are coutious, speedy and polite...nothing appears too much trouble....

A comfortable stay at the Hessischer Hof. Arrived after a late flight and was pleasantly surprised by the FREE minibar in the room. The room was comfortable enough. A continental breakfast included in the price and very pleasantly presented in the dining area. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Free Wi-fi in the room, with a strong-enough signal for internet browsing, but had some trouble with signal strength for video communication. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide an iron and ironing board in the room.
