“Very Close to Messe Showgrounds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

This was a return trip to the hotel for a fair at the Messes in Frankfurt. I stayed in an executive room which is very spacious. The staff greet you by name and the dining room is excellent. Have the set price 3 course meal including wine for Euro45, great value

Room Tip: Choose the executive rooms, more expensive but good size and overlook a quiet street

I was stranded in Frankfurt with out my travel partner. All of our additional reservations were in her name including our rental car to get out of town. I ended spending about 24 hours in Frankfurt and found this hotel on hotels.com in the airport. I was so pleased with my find. The hotel is lovely and so is the staff. I couldn't have been happier.

The service is really worthy 5 star rating! and with a very reasonable price~ if you stay here, you must try the restaurant, the main course is amazingly good! ( but I would say the dessert is so so...they say they are the best restaurant in Frankfurt, after trying, I believe so!)...it's also interesting that they give me a feeling of 「Japanese hotel service」coz I never see the housekeeper showing up but the room always be cleaned in the right time.....

Room Tip: standard room is good, so I believe above this is all good!

One night business trip. Room a good size and bathroom smart with moulting brown toiletries. Free beer water and soft drinks in mini bar and free wifi. Staff efficient and attentive. Breakfast buffet good but food for dinner in restaurant less impressive though service good. Directly opposite the messe and close Ro financial district.

Well I was booked for a long stay and left the Very next day for Hotel Kennedy.
This hotel was maybe nice 20 years ago it's so run down and just not up to even Holiday Inn Standards!! I don't reccomend staying there only if it's for a night and it's across the street from the convention Center the Messe.
The rooms are quite dreary with a small single bed and the rooms overlook a school and a parking lot with tons of kids yelling etc
Really I don't even think i i would consider a nite again overall not a good location!! They have nice buffet breakfast in the dining room!

Dear KandiceK,

We would like to thank you for your comment and have to apologize that we have not been able to meet your expectations. We value our guests highly and appreciate their feedback.
It is a pitty that we have not been able to satisfy you whilst your stay, especially in view of the standards of the hotel furniture. Our three categories and suites feature an elegant flair and are tastefully furnished in Art Déco style or with antique furniture pieces. The hotel is equipped with more than 1.500 high worth historical pieces of art out of the collection of the owners family foundation of the landgraves and princes of hesse.
Our Standard rooms have a size between 20 and 30sqm. Light and friendly Pastel Colors, a comfortable chair and classy lamps create a livable ambience and invite you to stay. It might have been that this category did not meet your taste. Then we recommend you to book another category, as there are for example the Executive rooms. In 2010 newly renovated with 28 quietly located unique rooms, afford 55 sqm of luxury with Kingsize or Twin beds. They successfully combine modern and classic interior design, showing wallpapers from the famous British Designer Nina Campbell, tasteful color combinations and all rooms offer state-of-the-art technology.
On top of that, this month we finished several renovations in different parts of the hotel to offer our guests the highest quality and a first-class service: 28 bathrooms in our superior category have been renovated and two complete new hotel rooms are also finished.
Dear KandiceK, once again we would like to apologize that we did not meet your expectations and hope to get the chance to present you our new renovated rooms upon your next visit. We hope to see you again soon in the only privately run 5-star hotel in Frankfurt and remain

with kind regards

Eduard M. Singer

The decoration is old fashioned, smells old, not really my kind. The bathroom also looks old fashioned, no charm at all, beige tiles, cold. However, I could deal with that. What I could not deal with was the fact that at about 3am there was furniture being moved around, very noisily. I stayed in a floor full of Office/Staff rooms, I do not know what was being done but it was hell. I called to complain and it stopped, but by then I was already fully awake with meetings early the next day. And what, did they think people wouldn't hear the noise? Very disrespectful! To make matters worse, I complained to the receptionist and she offered me.... a cup of coffee!!! To compensate for my lack of sleep! Not an apology, but a cup of coffee!!!! I asked to see the manager on duty, Mr Eduard M. Singer, as per the sign hung on the reception area. Funnily enough, as it is usually the case in establishments with poor service, the manager on duty was not there. There was no manager there I could talk to! Bizarre. Anyway, I wouldnt stay at this hotel again, I dont recommend anyone to stay. The decoration is old, smelly, the location is not great, the service is horrendous, why bother!
