After weeks of travelling with my wife and staying in hotels of various qualities, this one was definitely a wow moment for us. Beautiful furnishings, helpful staff and good location near the U-Bahn station. They surprised us with lovely chocolates, placed on the bedside cabinet EVERY time they made the room and the minibar in the room was free of charge (beer and coke); not forgetting the fresh fruit tray in the room also.

Breakfast buffet is top of the class, with different choices of hot drinks and over 10 types of teas to suit your taste. As with most German hotels, a very quiet and peaceful environment to stay in.

Stayed in a Superior Room for a couple of nights in April. The rooms are huge - walk-in closet, foyer and a large bathroom with separate bath. The room itself was decorated in the charming style that they had promised. The whole hotel is very beautiful and gracious throughout, but the staff ensure that it is never stiff or uninviting.

Food at Restaurant Sevres was very good, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. The hotel is also very close to a U-bahn station, and it's directly across from Messe Frankfurt.

Wasn't able to try the neighboring gym, so can't review that. The free WiFi is a great plus for a hotel of this quality.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Hessischer Hof on business and continued my stay for a personal trip with my wife and baby. It was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Outstanding service - very welcoming and personal (they greet you by name) - and the accommodations are phenomenal. From the reception area and lounge - which feels like your living room, instead of a hotel (and includes a wide selection of daily newspapers) to the large, comfortable bedrooms - which are very spacious and quiet and well taken care of by the staff - the hotel is beautiful and very well designed and organized. And the staff is phenomenal - especially the doorman/bell hops who help with luggage and taxis and the housekeeping staff - incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best hotel restaurants. My only minor quibble: you need to request coffee (it's not readily available throughout the day) and there is no beer selection (which seemed odd for Germany), but their house Riesling (from the family's own vineyard) is outstanding - excellent welcome freshment - with superb service, of course - upon arrival. The location is quiet and a tad off-center (unless you are there for a convention at the Messe/Festhalle across the street), so you'll need to walk 15+ minutes to the Alte Oper/Zeil shopping area and Romerberg old city, etc. - but the neighborhood behind it (north toward Bockenheimer strasse and east toward the Cityring) is very nice (but minimize your walks to the Hauptbahnhof area to the south, which is sketchy). Great transportation by local trains and taxis right at the hotel.

A little old facilities are maintained confortable.
Gym & Sauna are on the outside of the hotel.
But they never say "NO" at any time.
And they make me able to do what I want to.
It is the hospitallity.
In germany, hospitality revel of hotel is totally not so high.
So I think this hotel is one of the greatest hotel in Germany.
