I have business dealings in Strasbourg. I always drive back to Frankfurt the night before I fly out. The Park Inn is cheap, but the service isn't great. The shuttle ride to the airport is supposed to be free, but I was charged an extra 10 Euro. The rooms are OK, and the restaurant is OK. I get the feeling they have so many people staying there because of their proximity to Europe's largest airport that customer service is not a priority for them.

For the last 18 months I've been traveling frequently from the States to Germany, and I've tried numerous hotels at Frankfurt airport.

Park Inn wins out for price to value. The Hilton Garden Inn is a better equiped hotel and only a minute walking distance, but at times 40% more expensive.

The Park Inn has shuttle bus every 25 minutes, and is less than 5 minutes door to door. No charge from airport to hotel, but return trip 3 euro fee is added to bill. Good sized fitness room no charge, is spacious but only one runner, one elliptical, 2 cycles and free weights available.

Restaurant and bar service is good, always good atmosphere with reasonable prices. Breakfast is reasonable price and good selection. Hate paying for Internet so this is a negative as overpriced.

Will continue to use and actually have now started using Park Inns elsewhere, as normally brand new buildings with clean contemporary design, small but clean functional bathrooms and convenient locations at airports and train stations.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times, only because late arrivals to Frankfurt and heading on the following day.
Easy to find a bus to the hotell and easy to go back to the airport by bus.
The hotell is very near the runway at the airport, but its a good distance by bus.
Its a huge area..
The rooms a nice and clean, the restaurant serves good food.
The service is nice.
I just stay there for a night at the time as I think the most people do, but I highly recomend it for a night.

Since visiting this facility I see Park Inn as positioned at the 'lower range', while not exactly being inexpensive. Our experience started with waiting for the airport shuttle at the wrong bus stop (not the same stop the other hotel buses do!). A wrinkled piece of paper pointed us in the right direction. We had to walk quite a bit and even then there was not an official sign stating that we are at the right pickup (different exit).
Room was ok and clean.
Dinner at restaurant was ok; the table was not clean. Breakfast was ok. Quite alot had to be refilled; and even water for tea had to refilled and heated. Service not attentive.
Shuttle only leaves 2x an hour and NOT at the time stated by reception. And it's the first time when we had to pay extra for an airport shuttle; also here reception did not inform us (inspite of us asking for the timetable); but the bus driver then asked for our tickets (which we didn't have).
