It's old fashioned.. it was packed the night we went with locals and some tourists.. the food is great.. big portions... small prices. The waiters were great.. when I asked for a 'dunkel' they came back horrified that the tap had broken and I had to drink Pilsner.. (oh the horror). It's traditional 'meat and potatoes' kind of place and the local speciality 'Frankfurt sauce' (basically a herby, yogurhty dip) is available on the steaks and the schnitzel. Great stuff.
