“Great small Italian close to HBF.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We had pizza and it was really good. The size was pretty decent and more than enough for one person and at a very reasonable price. Pizza crust was just perfectly cooked - not too thin and really tasty - and the filling of the pizza was generous. The employee didn't speak much english but it was easy to get out order in and I'd say they served us pretty fast. Would definitely recommend!

“small family run bistro close to the hauptbahnhof”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

a short distance from the hauptbahnhof is this small bistro.

pizzas and pasta from around 4 to 5 euro each with indoor and outdoor seating it is always a buzz.

the usual communal tables of germany is the trend.

they have a dish where they heat oil with rosemary, peppercorns and then place slices of beef in it and bring it to the table spitting as it cooks. A great dish.

A mixed platter of swordfish, shrimp/prawns and sardines was also a great dish.

For pizza, pasta, a beer, espresso and a glass of limoncello it was 13euro.

It is not silver service but great food on a budget.

“Rustic Italian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

We stayed at a hotel close by and noticed that this place was packed with people all the time. One evening we queued up. A very nice experience - home made quality Italian food, and not expensive. Very nice and welcoming staff.

“Genuine Italian home-cooking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We went to this small restaurant encouraged by tripadvisor reviews, and probably because it was really close to our hotel. As we reached the place I was quite ready to resign and go somewhere else, as 7 Bello was already full, but stopping just for 5 seconds we were warmly welcomed and seated on the only 2 free chairs, next to another couple. After that magic happened: we were served one of the best Bolognese and pizza we have ever had north of Italy. Although our choice was delicious we were jealously peeping on other tables just regreting we are too full to try anything else.
I would definitely eat at 7 Bello again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine Italian home-cooking. Just remember it's a Pizzeria with really good food, and not a fancy restaurant.

“Good Italian this is not”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

Poor menu selection, cramped seats and slow service do not help this Italian hangout. If your desire is to mingle with the locals and only want to order basic drinks, this small restaurant may be for you. If you want decent Italian food, go to Italy (or at least look for another option in Frankfurt.
