The converted bank makes an excellent décor for the buzzy london or new yorker style restaurant.
I found the website irritating, but managed to book on-line and actually get a confirmation.
Warmly welcomed and seated, the two of us found the menu excellent. We had a tapas starter, with small intricate delicate entrées on a tall cake like platter in 3 stores. Since being the only wine drinker I choose a Californian pinot noir to go with the whole meal. My partner had beer, which luckily there is an abundance of in die Bank.
Steak Frites for my partner perfectly cooked, and pike for me. So tender and beautifully executed. lemon sauce and asparaguses. TOP TOP!
Chocolate cake and vanilla ice.
All in all the food and the venue is superb. So get the on-line up to scratch and service in order (slow though being very pleasant).
We definitely will revisit.
