Another great mideavel building in Bremens center. Sometimes I get churched out in Europe and think to myself, "oh, just another really old church", but this one is really captivating and impressive. also if you have a chance to take a tour of the city you will learn that it jumped about a meter during the bombings of WWII and is still standing today. also worth noting is the "spuckstein" or spitting stone just outside the church-a stone that the people spit on to disdain the last person that was executed in the city-a women who poisened a lot of her lovers for no reason at all. also they have a lot of classical concerts here that really take you away so you feel like you are living in the middle ages. an atmosphere that you will deffiniately get when visiting the historic center of Bremen.
