The Dressler proved to be the perfect place for dinner our first evening in Berlin. It was just around the corner from our hotel, the Westin Grand. It had the charming, traditional atmosphere we wanted and good food. My husband loved his very tender steak with brotkartoffel (oven-fried potatoes). My lamb chops were alright, but cut too thin to be cooked medium rare, as I requested, however, the scalloped potatoes were absolutely divine. Our waitress was very nice and spoke good English.
