Visited on last night of 6 day stay thinking we would have a special meal. What a disappointment.
Very surly waiters preoccupied with their own importance.
Ordered a Ministrone soup for starter. I love my soups and generally Germany is a great country for producing the best soups, but this one was the second worst soup I have ever tasted. Consisted of a variety of green vegetables boiled in a stock for no more than 5 minutes. It certainly didn't need a chef to cook this. The brocholi spear was so hard I couldn't cut it with the edge of my spoon.
To follow my wife had a goat's cheese salad and I had a roast beef dish. For £14 for a salad my wife was expecting a bit of a show. She got a bundle of greens, one tomato quartered, two slice of goat's cheese and a balsamic dressing. What a rip off. The roast beef was quite tasty apart from the fact that it was totally smothered in olive oil. The cheapest wine on the menu was 29 euros.
The biggest waste of 50 euros I have ever had on any holiday
