4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012 via mobile

Short menu but they know what they're doing!!
Pretty good pho, better than most places I've tried in Europe
Wanton soup was really lacking in wantons though
Overall really yummy food, would recommend if you're in Prenzlauerberg!

“Very good Vietnamese food, lovely atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We went for Si An based on the reviews on tripadvisor, and it fully lived up to the good reviews. We where seated outside on a bench together with some other guests, so if you would like a total private experience, this is not the place. We're not scared of this concept and just think it gives eating out a more social dimension. We had a papaya sallad to share for a start followed by Pho Bo and a ricenuddelsaqllad with baked springrolls - it was just perfect - a lot of flavours and quite large dishes. We had in total four of the mixed non alcoholic drinks with ginger, mint and other flavours, which where great, and I also had one beer. In total we payed 40 Euro, which is very good value.
Note: the beer is served from the bootle - not with a glass, and the restaurant only takes cash.

Everything I ate was incredibly tasty! Great value too. Try the strawberry, lychee, lime, mint drink.

“Brilliant little place with a lovely garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

Stumbled across this place when strolling through Prenzlauer Berg. The beautiful garden in front of the restaurant first caught our eye - it was awash with flowers in bloom and lanterns.

The inside is small and intimate and guests share long tables whilst seated at low stools.

The menu is focused around vegetarian dishes, but meat can be added on request. The menu is short with traditional dishes combining only the freshest of ingredients. The food was faultless and very speedily prepared in a tiny kitchen where you can watch the chefs.

“Still talk about this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

It took a while for us to find this restaurant but we were so happy we did. The food was lovely, atmosphere excellent and to top it all off, it was so inexpensive.
