We searched for it, pushed by the enthusiastic Lonely Planet's review.
I must say that I just can't understand the rationale of the well-known guide (I'm quite disappointed 'cause it occurrs more and more often with LP).
We found this place quite dirty, from ground to floor and the endeavours to position itself as a tavern IMHO fail completely.
The choice between the 3 different menus was well explained by other reviewers.
It's not an expensive place, but the quality is really fair (i.e. supermarket meat): it rather seemed to me I had a lunch in a workplace canteen.
But the most negative thing is that I didn't appreciate the so-called 'kindness' of the owner, which I found rather forced, annoying and gimrack (almost seemed to tease customers in their own language, with the most common clichés).
I'd suggest the owner to concentrate himself on the refreshing and refurbishing of this overrated cafè (in an area where alternatives are certainly plentiful) instead of auto-celebrating his own poor dishes with lots of 'magnific', 'fantastic', 'superb' when he serves them to you..
