This restaurant claims to have introduced wood-oven pizza to Berlin, and over the years they seem to have perfected that dish. I had an excellent pizza margherita there; the crust was the proper thinness and had the scorch marks you associate with a wood oven. The Savignyplatz location is huge with a large outdoor area where I ate. I found it a pleasant location, with attentive, upbeat service. The portion was huge and could easily have fed two. I did not try any of their pasta dishes, but other diners seemed to be enjoying them, at least from what I could see.
