I visited this restaurant 18 years ago and cherish very good memories about and this year I want to come there to inhale the fantastic ambience that used to be there.
it changed tremendously and lost its class in terms of the interior due to several shifts of owners.
However it preserves a high quality of Russian cuisine and caucasian cuisine.
Tasty borsctsh and hand-made pelmeny - just perfect. needless to tell about shashlyk.
The waitress told us that the kitchen is staffed with good Russian chefs.
Moreover there is a fabulous pianist. He is a real treasure there, he plays so masterly and composes such a poppury that you stop eating and start listening. Definitely he is a high professional. On the other hand he has a fine sense of humor cause he finishes his composition with the Hymn of Russia in a funny way. Just great.
There is a good wine offer.
The place is very cosy and it is located on a round square with a big and picturesque tree in the center.
Prices are moderate. I would recommend to book in advance cause at weekends it is fully booked.
