A wide, tidy apartment in trendy Prenzlaurer berg. It's very clean and has a great location. Near all the restaurants en the public trasport. It has everything you need. Oppisite the apartment is the supermarket Kaiser's. Also great wifi, a phone to call the apartments owner, a big home cinema set and a compleet kitchen. Bathroom has a bath and a washing machine. All very clean. Love it and will be back!

Pros.
We have rated this 5 because, for the price, it is a great option. This is our second stay in city-room, Berlin. The apartments are a great choice for a holiday or short term stay - especially if you have children. Not only do the cooking facilities mean that you don't have to eat out all the time, it is in 'trendy' Prenzlauer Berg district, which is extremely child friendly (lots of playgrounds nearby, child friendly cafes and kids shops). Close to lots of shops for everyday needs and more. Close to S-Bahn and U-Bahn to get in and around city easily. Host is friendly and helpful. Price is good too.
Cons
We also didn't have a washing machine this time (as someone else said in their review) but it has worked OK as whereas last time we washed the stuff ourselves and it took ages to dry, this time we let them know we need some washing done and it is taken away, washed and dried and returned to us free of charge. Cooking facilities are limited (2 cooking rings) but fine for short stay and have all the pots/pans/plate/cutlery etc we need and toaster, kettle and dishwasher as well as fridge & coffee maker.
Overall, recommend city room apartments highly.

We stayed there around New Year for 10 days.The place is pretty central, near tram, S-Bahn and U-Bahn 2, and also near to a big shopping mall. The guy who rented the appt was very kind and helpful. The only problem was that the washing machine was broken but he washed our clothes somewhere else and delivered them to us the next day. We also had to pay more than usual because of the season but the appt was cozy and well-heated.

when i come to Germany i think i should look for a Hotel but after that i know he imformation about the apartment for rent in Berlin, i check in the website and i book the room...
so much surprise when i come to this apartmen....
the Host very friendly, the room really nice and clean, comfortable and ofcourse the price very cheap.
i like it very much.
