We stayed here just before Easter and highly recommend it. The rooms are large and spacious although the showers are a little on the small side. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed for the Zoo which is within easy walking distance and also the upmarket shops on Kurstendamn (not sure of spelling here!). I would definitely come back to Berlin and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Seifert. Oh and they speak excellent English!

We are a five-member family and we stayed at Hotel Seifert/Berlin for 5 nights. The hotel is in a very good location.
We are very pleased with the personel, it is very friendly and helpful. Our room was big, tall, clean, quite and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the prices very nice.
Our overall experience is Excellent!

This hotel is located 2 blocks from Kurfurstendamm, near shops, restaurants, and transportation to everywhere in Berlin. It's about a 10 minute walk to Zoo Garten (or you can take bus 249 around the corner) which is a major transportation hub and trains to Schonefeld airport stop here. The street was fairly quiet although sometimes we could hear some noise but it was not bad.

The hotel is located in an older building and you have to go up one level (take stairs or elevator) to the reception.

The room for 3 persons was large and clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was small but also very clean. They lacked toiletries so be sure to bring your own. Sometimes the water temperature did change during your shower but otherwise good water pressure.

The breakfast selection was very good, with cold meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, coffee, juice, tea, hot scrambled eggs, boiled eggs. Breakfast is served in a large bright room off the reception area.

The staff at reception are very helpful, friendly and patient. They can give suggestions on where to eat, transportation to take, sights to see. They can even sell tickets for the tranportation and Welcome Berlin cards.

I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to others.

I was very satisfied from the Seifert Hotel, personnel was great, informative, very friendly and their English excellent! Breakfast was also very good, way above average for a 3 star hotel! it is situated in a very convenient and nice area, the metro is just 2 blocks away. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Hot water available at all hours and heating. I must admit, when I first checked in to the building I was a little shocked because of the way the hotel is set up i.e. the reception is on the first floor from the entrance, I had found out that reception is available until 10pm, and on my way to my room which was on the second floor until we got to the room going through some locked doors, and the long hall, well I got a little spooked out. However, that was only because we had arrived late, around 10 30 pm and the reception lady was kind enough to wait for us. The nights/days after that everything seemed and was very safe.
Also, the Indian restaurant “Spice India” to the next building was more thank excellent!

overall, i would go back to the Seifert Hotel!

Hotel Seifert is an old, beautiful and well-maintained hotel. Even though the hotel is old the rooms are kept in good shape. The breakfast buffet offers a large range of yoghurt, bread, cold meat and soft drinks. The employees are obliging and they speak both English and German thus they are quite easy to communicate with.

It is located near the street Kurfürstendamm which is West Berlin’s largest marked-street. Furthermore it's surrounded by many exiting restaurants and bars. The nearest supermarket is located about 50 meters from Hotel Seifert. Furthermore there is less than 300 meters to the nearest subway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Seifert and we can only recommend it.

The Hotel Seifert is well situated - just a couple of minutes walk from the Ku'damm and has several excellent restaurants and friendly bars nearby. Despite its central location, it wasn't noisy at night.

Our room was spacious and light with a high ceiling and large windows overlooking a courtyard. The decor and bedding was white, with pale wood effect furniture. The standard of cleanliness was excellent and the bathrooms looked newly fitted and were gleaming and fresh.

If I could pick any fault, it would be with the quality of the bedding and towels - although they are all white and very clean, they were a bit on the thin side. And the carpet was a bit dated, although again, it was a flat, office-style carpet so it didn't feel unhygienic or anything! Considering this was a modestly priced hotel, I feel a bit mean even mentioning this.

What this hotel really stands out for is the friendliness of the staff and for the breakfast buffet which offers everything (and more!) that you could possibly want for breakfast and serves both hot and cold food. Out of all the German hotels I've visited, this one wins hands down on the breakfast front. And no carpet in the dining room! Pale laminate floor and very clean and fresh.

I would definitely stay here again!
