We stopped by Johnny's Bar ("cafe" would be a more appropriate name!) while in the local area looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch. We should really have looked harder...
The place itself is rather quaint and very welcoming with friendly staff, particularly Johnny himself. However, that's the end of the positives. The friendly service didn't equate to good service unfortunately as our group of four proceeded to wait 45 minutes for some simple toasties - I'm absolutely convinced our order had just been forgotten about, and it's not as though there was an excuse of the place being busy as it simply wasn't. Not only that, but the toasties themselves were terrible, packed full of "plastic cheese" - quality had quite clearly been deserted in favour of quick profit margins.
Overall, very disappointing - though if you're just wanting a drink this place would be fine. Just avoid the food!
