A lovely hotel in a good location and great value. Why then spoil it with unhelpful and in one case rude staff.
The room is very clean and bigger than expected. It's easy to walk in to the city, if not trams and buses stop nearby and are very inexpensive.

This isn’t the world’s most distinctive or memorable hotel, but it’s comfortable, convenient and cheap (about €75 a night when I stayed there). I had a good-sized room with a big bathroom and a powerful shower, and there were some extras like a mini-bar and in-room safe which you wouldn’t always expect at this price point. It’s on quite a busy road so light sleepers might want earplugs, but the hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. There’s a nice park just across the road if you fancy a stroll.

Breakfast is fine – not great, but not bad either. The restaurant’s small and has a fairly limited menu, but it did the trick for me when I arrived after 9pm desperate for something to eat. The staff were all thoughtful and friendly, and were kind enough to play along with my attempts at German (though they all speak English as well).

In terms of location, it looks like it’s a bit outside the centre, but it’s actually very well-connected. The number 200 bus stops outside the hotel, runs every 10 minutes until late at night, and takes you directly to most of the tourist sites in both the former East and West Berlin. It’s also extremely easy to change at Alexanderplatz for the “TXL” bus to the airport – which runs every 6 minutes, and serves literally the next stop along the road from the 200.

All in all, this was a great base for exploring Berlin and if I can get it at a similar price, I’ll definitely come back here next time.

We were looking for nice place for 2 days. It was good choice. Near to the airport, metro stations and quite convenient for sighseeing. Interior is modern, nicely arranged. Really quiet area for those who want rest a bit.

Room Tip: Take room from the little artificial "pond" side.

Selected this Hotel because my son is staying in Berlin for working experience for a year. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine from the region and a pretzel yum! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable with large shower room, Breakfast was fantastic, hot and cold selection to please anyone's taste. Bus stop outside no. 200 which takes you directly to Alexanderplatz, or you can take the Tram just at the end of the road 5 mins walk away. Many restaurants or bars to choose from also nearby in the surrounding area if you don't want to go into the hustle and bustle of the city. Price included breakfast and free wifi which to me is very important.

We came for Swimming Championships at Veldrom. The hotel is central - you can walk from Alexander Platz in 15 minutes although I would noot recommend for those with heavy luggage,The check-in was smooth although we came late. The room was big, spotless and calm. Thanks to this silence we had a brilliant sleep. Breakfast is a definite plus. A lot of choices and great food. Overall very helpful staff, nice modern hotel. My recommandation

Stayed here for a few days recently, friendly check In staff, great location, I was upgraded to an extremely spacious room. Very nice indeed.
Wi if is free but.......It is very very slow, I,m told by the staff that this is in the process of being changed.

Would return if the wi if is improved.

Room Tip: Lifts can be a bit slow, ask for a room on the 1st floor.

Very nice hotel! We stayed for two nights recently for a weekend in Berlin with friends. Both my room and my friend's room were clean, spacious and the bed was comfy.
The mini bar was expensive (what did you expect!!) and I would have expected better toiletries for the price we paid (they have shampoo/body wash and conditioner in dispensers rather than individual containers) but apart from that it was perfectly lovely.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was nice - continental style with some scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages to add.
Easily accessible from Tegel and very close to the city centre - but very quiet and peaceful.
Would definitely stay again.
