Cozy and welcoming restaurant with an innovative and tasty menu. We chose this restaurant after reading some TA reviews and we were not disappointed. It was a short walk from our hotel just off of Kurfurstendamm. We did not have a reservation, but were fortunate to get one of the last empty tables inside. It was a cool evening so being inside was nice. The interior is nicely decorated and the candle light gives the place a nice glow. Although the menu says German food, it is far lighter and varied than a typical German menu. The menu changes seasonally, which is a good sign tastes are fresh and always evolving. I had a wonderful roasted red pepper soup with pine nuts that was delicate yet satisfying, and the tasty roast beef salad for my main. Hubby ordered the 3 course menu. His first selection was the salmon carpaccio which was absolutely delicious. (I just had to try some!!) He then had the tomato bisque, and for his main had the lamb. He was thrilled with all his selections. We also shared a bottle of wine. All this for less than 70€. Service was attentive and timely, with plenty of smiles to go around. If we had more time in Berlin, we would have come back again! If you are in the area, do not miss this little gem!
