I really wanted to give this hotel a better review as almost everything was perfect! The rooms have a very modern design and well insulated against noise from other rooms and corridor. The service is impeccable, it really is a 5 star hotel service. Friendliness, availability, personal touch - everything is there.

Now here is my grief with this hotel:
The bed was so hard and weird so that both me and my husband got really bad back pains. We would wake up in the middle of the night due to the pain. There was only one comforter in the room and it was way too warm. The only solution we had was to turn down the heat to very cold, but then it wasn't very pleasant to get up in the morning.
Despite being on the 8th floor, the first night we had problems sleeping due to the noise from the street, surprisingly as the insulation between rooms and corridor was great.

The desk staff was extremely helpful for someone who arrived at 8:30 in the morning and couldn't get into her room until 3:00 pm or later. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. The room was also great.

Hotel was within walking distance of the zoo station ideal for public transport. Check in was very efficient the receptionist gave us a tour of the lobby area pointing out the restaurant, bar and business centre (useful for on-line check in and printing boarding passes). She also showed us how to use the key cards to operate the lift. We were given an upgrade to a room with a view down the ku' damm lovely at night when the Christmas lights were on. Room itself was clean and well furnished. Some nice touches such as a tv guide opened for the correct day, a clock and an umbrella holder. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided. The bathroom had both a walk in shower and a bath. Only small criticism was the room was rather hot but at -4 outside during the day most people would probably prefer this. Huge choice for breakfast - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese, meat, smoked salmon, croissants, doughnuts, carrot cake (!!!), a hot buffet with bacon, sausage, eggs, beans and if that wasn't enough more fresh eggs to order. Can definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed in different hotels in Berlin plenty of times, but this was oneof the best experiences ever.
This hotels is just in the middle of Western Berlin, 5 mins walk from Zoo station.
The building from outside is nothin special, a curved block of construction.
The check in process was fast and accurate, and to my surprise after I was done, an agent took me on a little tour around the hotel and escorted me to my room. I was spechless...The room was pretty small, overlooking the K´damm, with all the necessary stuff including the nespresso machine and magazines. I also received a welcome letter!

The bathroom was excellent, especially the shower.
All staff from concierge, the front desk or housekeeping were excellent.

There were also 2 small desktop with PC and printers, all free of charge.
Due to lack of time, did not use any of other services but would love to.

Trully 5* hotel!
