We too were impressed by Harald's reviews on Tripadvisor. My husband and I were arriving in Berlin early afternoon on Sunday, April 28, but due to work constraints, we had to fly home the next morning. As this was our first visit to the city, we wanted to make the most efficient use of our short time here. Required: a private guide with comfortable transport, who knows his way around Berlin's past and present. Research: Tripadvisor (and a few other resources). Result: Harald.
I emailed him about our arrival date, and our time squeeze. He replied promptly, inquiring about special interests, and offered suggestions for a three-hour "highlights" itinerary. A couple more emails to confirm arrangements and we were set. On April 28, he met us in our hotel lobby, and we were off. I won't list all the sites and sights we visited, but Harald's commentary on life after WW2, and before and after The Wall, was fascinating, as was his familiarity with Berlin's current art and theater scene. By the end of the tour, we were beyond convinced that Berlin was a city that needed to be visited again, in-depth, and soon! Thanks, Harald!
