5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful food great service and the home made delights are amazing!! We were there in August last year and had breakfast there twice, Markus the owner is absolutely lovely and if we had of known there was a place to stay there we would have in a heart beat.. Great value for money indeed!

“Nice place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Tried there some sandwiches - they were pretty good. We'll go there again to have breakfast - it seems to be tasty and cheap. The place was almost empty on Saturday evening but it's definitely not because of the food quality.

“Flammkeuken”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

OK, the spelling may well be worng, but they are absolutely gorgeous and however you want to spell it, you really must try it -something like a pizza, but with a very light (and low carb!) base: DELICIOUS!

“Great food in a small cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

We loved the breakfast platters. Wonderful bread, cheese, spreads and a few extras. Also the tarte flambee for a light dinner. Nice homely atmosphere with a mixture of traditional tables and sofa areas. Very friendly staff speaking great English by the way. Top votes from us all - family of six with four boys.

“Good family place, looking forward to a winter afternoon here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We went there this afternoon for a small family gathering. They had a good choice of homemade cakes (mousse au chocolat, NY cheese cake, tarte au citron to name a few) all around €3.60. That's fairly expensive for Berlin but alright for this part of town. The cakes were delicious, too. My favourite was the mousse au chocolat cake. The macarons weren't quite as good - the filling is a bit too buttery...
The service was quite good - quick but not pushy. There was special hot chocolate for the little one (not too hot, with lots of milk), and books and stuff to draw for the kids, too.
The atmosphere is comfy-chic. I can very well imagine spending a winter afternoon in one of the armchairs, reading, drinking chai....
