“Very good airport hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

Best price to quality ratio I have seen so far. Everything is brand new. It is hard to find something good to eat if you check in late. I belive it is going to change. Anyway you can try searching nearby area. There is a bar with some junk food north east of the hotel (across the street) . It's OK if you are not too picky.

Room Tip: Air conditioning works fine so there is no need opening windows. Although if you do need windows ope...

Stayed here for 1 night. Hotel is very new and has been built, (I presume), in anticipation of serving the new Berlin Brandenburg airport which is replacing Schoenefeld in 2013.

The hotel is on a new-build road, (Alexander-Meißner Str), which wasn't on our sat-nav which caused a problem. Google maps sent us to completely the wrong place when we searched for this hotel so take care if using that!
The closest major road is Am Seegraben which is the main road which runs past the hotel. We put that in the sat-nav with Schwalbenweg as the cross street and that got us to the approx location.

There was plenty of parking next to the hotel. I don't think there is any need to actually pay for parking. The hotel appears to have it's own private section as part of a larger free open parking area but all that separates them is a small barrier. The free area was in no way less secure than the paid area and there seems to be no advantage in using the hotel's parking apart from it being a matter of metres closer to the entrance.

The hotel is a good looking modern building. It looked great inside. It's a matter of taste of course but I thought the public areas and rooms had been designed and decorated to a very high standard. The rooms were ultra clean. Bathroom was separate from the toilet which is useful. TV had a few English speaking channels.

There's a tiny gym, a rooftop terrace, (basically a few tables on the roof), and hotel was clean, and pleasant throughout. There was free wifi, (password from reception), and staff were friendly.

The reception, lobby, and bar are all one open-plan area which looks good and works well. There was a good atmosphere in the bar area in the evening as it's part of the open-plan area and isn't hidden away or anything.

There's not much nearby. There's an Aldi supermarket next to the hotel but that's about it. Maybe when the new airport opens more will open in this area. There's a hotel shuttle bus to the airport.
If you have a car there's a decent Italian 10 mins away with parking: Ristorante La Merita. There's a bar to the side as well.

We got a great price which was excellent value for money. Maybe the price will increase when the hotel becomes more established, but for now, I regard it as something of a bargain.

Very nice hotel, new and clean. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Room was not very big but sufficient even for a family of four. There was one full bathroom and one separate toilet (both within the room) - very handy for a four-person room. They didn't provide ordered baby cot but after asking about it, it was in place within couple minutes. Hotel has a guest kitchen in the lobby with stove, fridge, microwave, even washing machine and lot of kitchen equipment which is very nice when travelling on budget. There is a small grocery store right next door. The only annoyance was the parking - they charged 10eur fee for "guarded parking" but when we arrived we realized that it is just an open area in front of the hotel with no visible "guard", right next to a similar big open area where the parking is free...
