I was a little dubious about this hotel after reading some of the reviews but I took a chance due to our flight getting in a little late. It is an ideally located hotel as we got off great airport express to Alexanderplatz, came out the station at the foot of the hotel. Reception staff smiley and helpfull, okay the room was small but spotless, well comfy beds, great view across berlin and breakfast well and truly fed us. For £168 quid two adults three nights B and B you cannot be robbed! I saw the other hotels as we went on an excellent Bike tour with fat tire bike tours an excellent way to see the sights and meet new people, the other hotels not wanting to dis them looked very run down and trading on a name ie hilton and raddison! overall a great hotel.

i find the park inn really good on european standards. im writing this review right now from my room in the hotel... enjoying the view and using this light speed internet connection! its awsome!

the hotel is clean, the room is really good, the services are really nice and i was imazed by the SUPER FAST check-in!!! i did my reservation from their website online cuz i got the best offer i can find online and it didn't require a credit card to reserve!

The room costs 75EUR and DSL in-room 24 hours for 18EUR (but u will have to have ur laptop and an ethernet cable).

There is lots of construction works around but the area is good.. and full of restaurants and bars and all.. the Alexanderplatz U is just a short walk.. heck i even go there for the fun of it and its full of nice places to wander around.

if i come again to berlin -- im staying here! just check their website before u go to an agency or another website cuz i found the best offer from them directly.

Just returned from a weekend spent at this hotel adn have to say that I was very impressed. Easy to get to via the Airport Express train and the hotel is position right by the exit at Alexanderplatz so easy to find. Rooms are bright and light and beds are extremely comfortable. Glass shower and toilet cubicles take a bit of getting used to though. Hotel doesn't have many leisure facilities but sauna complex is nice and new (as is the feeling throughout the entire hotel). Staff were friendly and helpful (their displayed motto "please wait for the next smile" is very apt). Location of the hotel makes it idea for sightseeing and connections across berlin using the underground are frequent, punctual, and cheap (max 2 Euro 10cents ticket each way or day tickets are great VFM. All in all an enjoyable stay and don't think it can be beaten for the price!

The hotel has a very strategic location, Alexander Platz is a central hub of the Berlin public transport network. From Tegel Airport, bus TXL (every 10 minutes) takes you straight to the hotel. The hotel is easy to spot being one of the tallest buildings around. Ok, Alexander Platz is undergoing a major reconstruction but that is to be expected as Berlin is one big building site at the moment.
The view from our room (26th floor) was spectacular. We could see most of the historic landmarks. The room was clean and modern. Just make sure you go with someone you know well as the bathrooms are not particularly private with all that glass!! The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.
Excellent breakfast buffet. Evening meals are good, and not overly priced.
The hotel's sauna (costs 5 Euro) is well designed with friendly staff.
