“Mini Europe Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

I travelled with my boyfriend as part of his birthday surprise - I did inform the hotel of the special occasion but nothing out the ordinary was noted. Anyway onto the actual review:

LOCATION: we loved the location - we got off the plane and followed the signs onto the train station we then had a little confusion about how to obtain a ticket: after that we jumped on the train and got off at Alexanderplatz station which was easy enough & right in front of you is the hotel! right in the heart of all the action!! all the amenities where in walking distance & we even walked to a lot of the attractions! The tour bus however starts right outside the main entrance of the hotel which is easy enough to jump on we used this to see checkpoint charlie & the berlin wall.

ROOMS: lovely, clean & tidy - mini bar was stocked up but pretty pricey. As others have said the glass on the toilet isn't very private and you can easily see body shapes and outlines of the person however there is a curtain that pulls all the way round the shower & toilet cubicle for privacy.

I would most defiantly go back to Berlin & would stay in the Park Inn again as we had no issues and we loved the convenience and location of the hotel - I would recommend everyone go to WHITE TRASH while in Alexanderplatz the food is lovely & they have live bands on every night great entertainment!!
We also went to sachsenhausen camp whilst in Berlin - if your into your history I would recommend! very moving and good trip!

Room Tip: Ask for view of the tower :)

The location was perfect, the rooms clean, the staff friendly. I had a room on the 33 th floor and the view was just fantastic. Very positive also was that it was quiet during the night and that the windows could be opened.
The breakfast was very good but unfortunately the breakfast area was always very crowded and it was not always easy to find a free table. It was a pity that Internet was not free.

Room Tip: If possible, choose a room on a high floor (> 30)

Great location, Alexanderplatz has lots of transport options. Close to a HB Brewery and lots of shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and cozy, looks recently restored and decorated. We had a room with a stunning view from the TV Tower. Nice staff.

Room Tip: The elevator goes very fast and you can feel a little dizzy. So, if that bothers you, choose a lower...

I stayed here recently for four nights and could not fault it.The hotel was clean, had everything I needed and the staff were helpful and friendly, in particular the staff at Spago's bar. The location is excellent and tram stops and Alexanderplatz train station are seconds away. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A great place to stay with a great location, right next to all transport links. Rooms clean with plenty, don't bother going to the roof terrace, no tables or chairs !A good breakfast. Breakfast room very busy but there was no delays. I would reccomend

My other half and I have just stayed here and absolutely loved it. It is right on the Square and has great transport links. If you want to go and party go to the Mitte area which you can walk to or it is a quick team ride away. We would definitely go back

Great hotel in great location. Fantastic view from the 40th floor cafe!!! Polite stuff, very rich breakfast and just opposite "Galleria" from where you can buy bottles of water in a low price. (ex. Evian 1lt - 1,40€). Don't forget that water is expensive!!! The bus from the airport leaves you just outside the hotel. (30min ride from airport). The Alexanderplatz train station is in 5 min walking distance.

The only thing that need changing (for my taste), were the mattresses. Too soft and old and if you have back problems it is a bit annoying. (Well... For the 10 days we spent there!)

I would definitely stay again there, next time I go to Berlin!!!

Best value for money!!!
