“A good modern hotel in Mitte.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

About 15-20min walk up to Brandenburg Gate. Not the best location for night life, but the staff are very helpful in making recommendations for what is available in the area, and the restaurant/bar downstairs in the lobby is well serviced. The hotel is nicely presented and very clean. Standard rooms are a little small, but not a big deal if you're not planning on spending lots of time in your room or not staying more than a few nights.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are very small. They have everything you need and are perfectly fine for sleeping and...

You can find the hotel easily. It's nearby the metro-station 'spittlemarkt'. We arrived late (23.30 PM) and that was no problem to check-in. The room was ver small, but ok for a short stay and only to sleep. For me the bed was to soft... It felt a bit like a beanbag. The bed was to small (i'm 1.79 meter) and the blanket was a bit to small too. So 3 of 4 nights i didn't slept well. They cleaned the room every day, including the towels. The bathroom is ok, not so big. But there are several mirrors in the bedroom, so you can comb your hair outside of the bathroom. The shower was nice and there are some shower-products on the wall. The showerdoor didn't closed properly... so there was always a little bit of water on the floor. We had a door in or bathroom! The aria around the hotel is safe and quiet. The hotel is big, friendly and quiet too..

The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy, the rooms were a little small and the bathrooms were very small, but ideal for a short break.
The hotel location was very close to a Metro stop, but there wasn't too much in the way of shops and restaurants outside in the hotel location.

We arrived late on a Saturday night and all the procedures were done swiftly and politely. Rooms were spot on for an overnight sleep and it was quiet all around . Helpful front of house and good breakfast .

This hotel is only a short (15 mins) walk, or 4 u-bahn stops from Alexanderplatz, so it's pretty well located to many of Berlin's fabulous museums but the immediate area around the hotel seemed very quiet-- not many restaurants, bars, or cafes. My double room was comfortable and elegantly appointed, but small-- it would be tight quarters for a couple for more than a night or two. For the price, which was reasonable, I know there are a lot of other options in Berlin (I in fact stayed in another hotel during my trip, which was cheaper, and I would recommend more readily). While the Titanic Comfort Hotel was nice, for my next visit to Berlin I think I would choose a hotel that is in a livelier area.

We spent 3 nights at Titanic hotel in Berlin while in town for a friend's wedding. The hotel is very modern, chic, clean and has great service. The area around the actual hotel is not very lively -- its quiet and seems safe (we were two girls returning to the hotel alone at night). It's steps from Spittlemarkt metro station which can get you pretty much anywhere you need to go.
The rooms are very nice but quite small -- there is no closet or drawers. Some have mentioned they had no bathroom door, but ours did. We upgraded to a room with two single beds instead of one queen, but the actual room wasn't much bigger, so if you don't mind sharing a bed you may want to save yourself the extra €10 a night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful -- They recommended restaurants, helped us with transit directions, and provided us with anything extra we needed. We asked for extra pillows and an iron and ironing board and received both with no issue.
My only complaint, and its a tiny one, was the lack of lighting in the room. Instead if an overhead light, there were three small lamps which was a bit annoying when trying to get dressed and apply makeup in the evening when there was no natural daylight coming through. Also, no fridge so we had nowhere to store any leftover dinner or snacks, but not a big deal. I also mentioned the small space, but that's typical in Europe and it was manageable for 2 people.

Overall great experience at a reasonable price of about €90 a night. We did not try the breakfast or have dinner in the hotel, so can't give any recommendations on that.

Hotel is 10 minute walk from Alexandraplatz, so ideally placed for city tour buses and Xmas market. Rooms are quite small, but spotless and well equipped and the bar and lounge areas are comfortable. Ideal for a city break.
