“Superb hotel, value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We visited Radisson Blue in East Berlin with my husband in Summertime. What a great hotel. The biggest suprise was the worlds largest indoor fish tank (sylinder) which offered us romantic view from our room! The breakfast with sparkling wine was more than welcome on our holiday away of children. The sauna section downstairs very good. Service good, even though not all the staff spoke good English. Near to historic sights, a huge shopping center close by. Near to nice area with cafes etc. Train or taxi to Kudamm, Potsdamer etc costcs less than 10 euros. A tall TV Tower close by; had a typical German lunch in here.

Stayed here for a conference in the hotel. Room great, lobby impressive (loved watching divers in the 8 storey high aquarium tank feeding the fish) and breakfast excellent. Plus staff very helpful. Only drawback was the temperature in the conference suite lobby where I had to spent 2 days manning (or should that be womanning?) an exhibition. The glass roof and no/insufficient air-con meant it was not a pleasant place to work from mid-day until approx 6pm. The outside temperature was 37 degrees which didn't help, but the architecture gave no respite.

Room Tip: Some rooms face into the lobby - we had one of these which was good given the outdoor temperature, b...

We stayed at the property for 2 nights. The hotel is very nice the indoor pool is small but nice. The location of the hotel is superb it's close enough to go anywhere. The bar is nice. The aquarium at the center of the hotel is a great feature. The rooms are big and modern. Overall very nice property.

Great rooms and service. Very convenient location as it is close to many of the historical sites. The free Internet in a plus!
Breakfast is expensive but there are many restaurants in the vicinity.
Highly recommended!

The hotel staff are great, and the location is in Mitte close to alot of attractions. Main train station is also close by and the aquaruim in the middle of the lobby is quite interesting. Wifi was included in the room which was another plus. The concierge was very helpful in booking me a show and confirming dinner reservations. Overall good experience.

Great hotel for tourists - close to museums. Hotel restaurant was good. Not many good restaurants close and the train is quite a walk. WiFi was included in room price but getting online was a different story. We had to sit on the floor by the room door to get access or go out in the hall by the elevators. Best access was in the lobby. Rooms were fresh and clean and had everything you need. Laundry service was excellent and a very good price compared to other hotels in Germany. Staff very friendly and helpful.
