I'll start with the pro: Location, location and location. Five minutes walk from the Zoologischer Garten and the main Kudamm shopping street.
Now let's go ahead with the cons.
If I could rate it zero, I would but unfortunately I cannot.
So first off - we were told that there are tubs and there are not.
The floor of the room was vibrating all day (and no, there was no renovation going on during our stay). The floor was creaking upon every single step and the bed was too. It was unable to even move in the room without making a lot of noise. We were told that there is a bed for to persons but we did not know that the definition of "double bed" for this hotel is two single beds attached.
The reception girl was incredibly rude. Her attitude was disgusting and we felt so not welcomed. When I wanted to get mineral natural water, I stepped to her and asked for water. She gave me a bottle of water. When I opened it, it had gas. I stepped to the reception and told her - "It has gas in it", she claimed that it's impossible and refused to take a sip. I then bought another one and it had gas too. Then she were brave enough to have a sip and viola! It had gas. And no, I was not refunded.
The overall design of the hotel is poor. The whole thing is full of dust. There are about fifteen (15) stairs at the entrance and no hotel workers are there for your assistance with the luggage.
The hotel rooms have number signs on them, but those are ridiculous and look like some piece of art made by a five years old kid. Very unprofessional/
The bathroom was okay (and I repeat - we paid for a room with a tub which did not really exist).
Never first floor. The rooms there are vibrating and noisy.
