Wow! Very impressed with this place, near to the Kochstrasse U-Bahn stop near to Checkpoint Charlie. A bit of a hidden gem, this place is done in an Argentinian style and sells great quality steaks. It seems to be a bit of a local haunt, as it is slightly out of the way but it was popular when we went, on a Wednesday - we did not make a reservation but got a table in a couple of minutes.
The food was amazing! We both said we could not remember having a better steak. The local beer (Berliner Kindl) was 3.50 Euro for 0.4 litres. I had fillet steak from the Chefs special menu and it cost 17 Euros, it was huge and came with an orange sauce, rosemary potatoes and mediterranean vegetables and was absolutely brilliant, cooked to perfection (we like rare steaks). We also had fillet steak with prawns and a seafood sauce which was excellent, this was 16.50 Euro. Service was great, the waitress helped to translate the menu.
