We booked 3 nights from the secret rooms website, and paid less than the standard hotel rate. We were going to see Muse on the Sunday at the Waldebunne. The lobby area was clean, basic, modern & sparse. On arrival I asked the receptionist if the room had tea/coffee making facilities, she advised me she was not normally from this hotel and did not know (end of: she did not even try to find out). The hotel room was quite a good size, clean, basic, modern, sparse & had a masculine decor there was a mini bar, hairdryer, towels, shampoo/body wash but no tea/coffee making facilities. The view from the room looked straight into the hotel rooms on the other side of the hotel , so to have any privacy the blinds had to be closed when in the room. We decided not to eat in the hotel as it did not offer good value. We got back to the hotel around 11pm each night and when requested we were refused teas/coffees as the machine had been cleaned & turned off for the night, the bar was open for cold drinks. The area was quiet with nothing much to do, the U Bahn metro stop (Narturkundemuseum) was a minute walk from the hotel and had a regular timetable even at night and with a few simple changes we could go anywhere in Berlin, so that was very handy for us. I would not stay here again as it was too modern & minimalist for me and we felt it was a bit out of the way on foot.
