“When can I return???”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

After being totally spoiled on a Silversea Baltic cruise, we arrived in Berlin fully prepared for less splendar and service. It did not happen at the Regent! We were entranced from the moment we stepped inside with the beautiful lobby and the aroma of orchids. Reception was very friendly and courteous and we were pleased to hear that we had been upgraded to a suite. We had extremely spacious two rooms with a large walk in closet and a huge marble bath.
The complimentary breakfast is a full menu of fruits, breakfast pastries, egg dishes, waffles and the best blueberry pancakes ever.
We spent four wonderful days here and would gladly return at the first opportunity.

Spent 4 nights here and loved it. Very beautiful hotel with well appointed, large rooms. Staff and friendly and very attentive. If you have the €€€€€ spend a couple of nights here. It's very close to Friedrichstrasse so it's ideal if you're coming from the airport.

We love small boutique hotels with great service and breakfast service.

The Regent has proven to be the kind of hotel that will provide a home-base when we return to Berlin. The staff has been excellent, including Lars, the concierge, who has spent a great deal of time with us making sure that our stay is full yet fun. He's helped with restaurants, walking itineraries, and a variety of other travel aids.

The rooms are large and airy, with windows that can be opened. The Beidermeier design is comfortable. The bathroom is especially nice, well-lit and a respite from a long day of walking. The mattresses are hard but comfortable.

We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, and I wrote a separate review of that. It was wonderful. Breakfast has been a treat, too. A buffet of fruits and pastries, with hot dishes able to be ordered from the lovely staff. We look forward to our morning wake-up as a result.

I highly recommend this hotel. We were originally scheduled to be at the Ritz-Carlton, where Obama was staying (unbeknownst to us). Luckily, our travel agent, knowing we like smaller, more local hotels, found us the Regent. Part of our interest in returning to Berlin is a result of our stay here.

We Stayed here from 6th June to 10th 2013 I had looked at a few other hotels but took heed of the fact that Unter den Linden the main thoroughfare in Berlin is being dug up to extend the underground and the smell and noise can be a bit much. Anyone visiting Berlin take heed that there is a lot of major construction going on and there are cranes all over the city. That being said we had a very pleasant stay in Berlin.
The Regent has a subtle decor through out and our room on the 5th floor was bright quite and averything a 5star hotel should be - the staff on the front desk and in the restaurant aswell as the front door were very friendly and attentive. We took the option to have the breakfast and was well worth it. If you are going for a special occasion this place has the wow factor. We also ate dinner one night in the resaurant,

We stayed 4 nights in the Regent Berlin which is ideally located in the heart of Berlin. It's close to the Bundestag, the Dom, the Brandenburg Gate, etc. From the doorman to the people at reception, and even the chambermaids, everyone is attentive to your every wish. Our room was tastefully appointed and absolutely spotless. These rooms are fabulous. The evening treat of either fruit or chocolates was a nice touch. We left a hotel evaluation upon checkout and the manager actually answered by email. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 nite stay at the Regent Berlin and we agree with all the pervious reviews...it was really lovely in every way. it was a bit more than we usually spend for a hotel but very worth it. We were upgraded to a suite and had the $50 breakfast included...it was excellent as was the service. The concierge staff went out of their way to assist us and the location was perfect!

Stayed here on a short 4 day break and thought it was excellent.
Food was top quality, we had a supper for about 30 of us which could not be faulted.
Rooms were very pleasant ( the built in uk travel adaptor in desk was a great idea)
Only faults I could see we're a) no tea and coffee in room, b) no iron in room c) wine in bar was very nice but take care on prices, the mark up similar to levels in Dubai.
But I would recommend this hotel and all the staff were lovely

Dear woll,

thank you very much for your review here on TripAdvisor. We are glad that your group and yourself enjoyed the stay with us.

Concerning the tea and coffee making facilities as well as the iron in the room everything will be easily provided to you upon your next stay. We do not have in all rooms as a standard, but the standard is just a phone call away.

We are looking forward to welcome you again which would be just great.

With best regards,

Your team of the Regent Berlin
