Nice museum exhibits and documantaions of the cold war thru the point of view of the allied countries (US, UK, Frans) in west Berlin In the period 1945-1994.
Exhibits includes: vehicles, one airplane, uniforms ,weapons and many original documents including personal letters.
One wall is dedicated to jews berlin-born that fought or served in the allied’s army during WW2 (like Henry Kissinger)
One of the exhibits that impress me is part of the “spy tunnel”
That used to listen to the Russia army communication until exposed by George Blake (the double agent).
The museum consist of two buildings separate by open yard.
Transportation: U3 to Oskar-Helene-Heim (5 min walk to north) or bus 115.
The museum is free of charge.
5 min walk north to the museum is Mcdonald.
